Accessibility Statement

Sistah Fast is committed to making our platform accessible to everyone, including women with disabilities. We believe wellness tools should be usable by all, and we are continuously improving our digital experience to meet that goal.

Last updated: October 2026

Our Commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the widely recognized standard for digital accessibility. This means our goal is that people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive differences can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with Sistah Fast.

Sistah Fast is a living platform. Some areas are still being improved, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time milestone.

What's Already in Place

  • ✓ A "Skip to content" link on every page for keyboard users.
  • ✓ Visible keyboard focus indicators on interactive controls.
  • ✓ Labeled navigation regions and the current page announced to screen readers.
  • ✓ Semantic page structure with defined landmarks and headings.
  • ✓ Page language declared for assistive technology.

What We're Still Improving

As part of our active remediation, we are working on:

  • → Raising color contrast on muted text and secondary labels across member pages.
  • → Adding descriptive labels to all icon-only buttons (edit, delete, adjusters).
  • → Ensuring all interactive charts and timers have text-based alternatives.
  • → Verifying full keyboard operability on forms and dialogs.

We expect to complete the core member-facing remediation during our beta program.

Report a Barrier or Request an Accommodation

If you experience any difficulty using Sistah Fast, or if you need an accommodation to access a feature, please tell us. We take every report seriously and will work with you to provide access.

hello@sistahfast.app

Please include the page or feature you had trouble with, and a short description of what happened. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Compatibility

Sistah Fast is designed to be compatible with modern browsers and common assistive technologies, including screen readers and voice-control software. We are continuing to test across a wider set of devices and tools during beta.

This statement describes our ongoing efforts and is not a warranty or a representation that every part of the site is fully accessible at this moment. We are actively working to close remaining gaps and welcome your feedback at any time.
